Pennsylvania Political Science Association

72nd Annual Meeting, Harrisburg

April 8-9, 2011

 

The Pennsylvania Political Science Association (PPSA) invites proposals for papers and panels to present at the 2011 meeting. The deadline for PPSA proposals will be January 31, 2011. The PPSA Annual Meeting includes panels and papers in all subfields of political science. Special features of the meeting include a section of research by undergraduate students as well as panels addressing politics and policy in Pennsylvania and the mid-Atlantic region.

 

In addition to the traditional PPSA panels, the 72nd Annual Meeting will be held jointly with the 2011 Annual Conference of the Middle Atlantic American Studies Association (MAASA) and the Middle Atlantic Folklife Association. The joint conference theme is “Heritage and the State.” See http://hbg.psu.edu/research/maasa/conferences.htm for more information on the theme and on submitting proposals to MAASA (note that the deadline for proposals to MAASA is earlier, January 10, 2011). PPSA proposals addressing the conference theme are also encouraged.
