If you
want to get a head start on this why not use a template.Simply click File -> New Click From Design Template Choose
from the template list (Whatever looks appeasing!)
Okay
we have a template and a theme now, here’s how you start Simply put in a
title where it asks for one and a subtitle
Now
you need to make a new slide simply right click on the whitespace to the
left side and click new slide
Now we
have a whole new slide with a different type fill it in with some
information of your topic (Everytime you hit tab
you can make a subtopic if you want to group information that way)
Let’s
say now you want to add a photo! Simply select where you would like to add
the photo and go to Insert -> Picture -> From File (Or Clipart
depending on what you want)
Browse
for the picture you would like
Click
insert and it’s there
From
here you can resize it by clicking on the picture and pulling it so it is
smaller
Let’s
say you want a new slide with a new layout!
Easy,
Once again click New Slide
This
time click one of the layouts on the right pane
Select
one of the layouts that best fits your needs
Let’s
say you want to have special effects and sounds!
Select
the slide you want to add effects to right click and choose Slide
Transition
Choose
the effect and the sound you want
What
about individual text?
Simply
highlight the text you want to add animation to and right click and choose
Custom Animation
Choose
the effect you want to add
Modify
the properties of the transition if you so please
