About: I was born and raised in Frenchtown, NJ.  Yes, I am a Jersey Boy which means I generally talk fast and drive fast, two things most have to get used to.  I am a very very very organized person.  Most people say that I have a excessive case of OCD which is generally the case.  I like to keep myself busy which is why I am involved in the SCC, Colleges Against Cancer and a few other things here on campus.  I am a Recreation Management Major with a concentration in Community/Commercial and I have a minor in Business.  When I "Grow Up," I want to work for the American Cancer Society in Income Development to assist in the fight which will one day lead to a cure for cancer... I Relay so your kids and grandkids will never have to hear the words..."you have cancer!"
As the SCC President, it is my mission to make change on campus and do whatever I can to improve students time here at LHU.  I really enjoy being President and will do whatever it takes to make my time in office successful.
Stop in to say hi or email me if you need anything at all.  I will do my best to assist you!

About:
I am a senior at Lock Haven University studying computer science and history, although it is a weird combination I enjoy history very much so I took it up as a minor. I was born in New York City and lived there till I was 14, my family and I moved to the Poconos located in North East Pennsylvania. I started high school there and although I missed the city life I grew to love the place. When I graduated high school I came to LHU it took about a semester before I could grow to love this school too. I got involved with student government in my sophomore year and been involved with many clubs and organizations since then. If there is anything that you need my door is always open!

Name: Donald Amoriello, Jr.
Position: Treasurer
Major:  Sports Administration

damorie2@lhup.edu  or 570-484-3813
About: I am from Bellefonte, PA and am an only child. To be me is to lead a very complex and interesting life. From my over obsessive structure of being neat and organized to going strictly by the rules and guidelines as much as possible, I find myself always busy. I have to always be busy and always like to help someone out when I can. I am a very detail oriented person. I am very personable when someone comes into mu office, however, I will be strict when needed.
I am a Sports Administration major, and with that major I would like to become an Athletic Director. I have determined two reasons why I decided on Sports Administration as my major. First, I have always had a love for sports, starting with soccer and baseball as a kid. I moved on from soccer and baseball to football and track after I moved from Bellmawr, NJ. Second was my family background. My mom and dad had a major influence on my life and in deciding my major. My mom was a cheerleader at Lock Haven University, and this influenced me to do what I wanted and to follow my dreams. My dad was an athlete at Lock Haven University, which is the biggest reason why I went the way I did.
In addition to being the SCC Treasurer, I am also a member of the Sports Administration Society, as well as the secretary and service chairman for Mu Upsilon Delta Service Organization.
As SCC Treasurer, I would just like to extend my position the best I can. Being in the role I am and difficult choices I must make everyday entitle me to take the position on a day to day basis. As a yearly goal, I want to make being treasurer for the next person easier. I enjoy my position because it gives me something to do and keeps me active. I also enjoy this position because it gives me social interaction that most will never get. This position is also one of the most challenging roles I have taken on so far. Having long days and even longer nights in my office, I find myself always trying to help clubs and organizations the best I can. My main focus with this position is to update and have all the records and information regarding clubs and organizations budget and forms that go through SAC. I know this year there is a lot of work going into handing in these forms but in the end it will be beneficial for the SCC and the clubs and organizations on campus.

About: I was born in Pocono Hospital on March 29, 1988 on a beautiful sunny day. I have lived in three different towns throughout my life. I’ve lived in Brookville, PA which is about an hour or so away from Pittsburgh. Then when I was about 4 or 5 years of age the state of Pennsylvania decided that they wanted to put a road where my house was. (Convenient huh?) Well we moved in with my grandparents until we found a house of our own. They lived in Blairstown, NJ. I can’t really give you an idea of where it is because there is absolutely nothing around it. I’ll just say that Jersey is probably my least favorite place that I have lived. Then last but not least I grew up in the town of Bangor, PA. Bangor is in the Lehigh Valley which is a little more recognizable then the other places I’ve lived.
Now we’ll get on to a few of my favorite things. My favorite music is rap and The Notorious B.I.G. is my favorite artist. My favorite movie is a toss-up between Scarface and The Godfather. My favorite food is my mom’s fried chicken. My favorite colors are blue and orange. Baseball is my favorite sport. I played baseball in Bangor for 11 years of my life. The Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Diamondbacks, Michigan Wolverines Football, Michigan State Spartans Basketball, Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers are my favorite sports teams. No I am not a band wagon jumper for any of these teams I will give you an explanation of why I chose these teams if you ask me.
I am a Political Science Major, and I would like to hold a public office someday. The reason I chose this as my major is because I enjoy helping people and defending people. And I feel I can get that the most out of this major. Other than being involved in the SCC, I am the Vice President of the Distinguished Gentlemen. I am also involved in German Club, Model UN and the CAPPA organization in Williamsport. I believe that I’m a fun guy to be around so come visit me in the office if you’re not up to anything or if I’m real busy in there don’t be afraid to set something up with me. I live in 315 Gross if you can’t grab me anywhere someone in my hallway will be able to contact me for you.
