I love my
job as the Student Activities Director because I get to work with so
many great students everyday. I am a graduate of Lock Haven University,
and live in Centre Hall, PA with my husband and our very large dog
Hercules. I work with many of our campus clubs and organizations, as
well as advise the SCC's student appropriations committee, budget
committee and executive board.

About: I
have an undergrad degree in Recreation Management and a master's degree
in Liberal Arts, both from LHU. Currently, I am a Resident Director in
Woolridge Hall, and have been a Resident Director at LHU for five years.
Name: Dr. Stanley Berard
Department: Political Science

About: I have taught at LHU since
fall 2000. I grew up in
south Louisiana, where my parents still live. My wife teaches at a
small college in Minnesota. Thank goodness for airplanes. Anyway, I am
happy to be an SCC faculty advisor, which I have done since 2004 (and
also in 2001-03). In late 2002, I started sitting in on Ways and Means
committee meetings. I try my best not to get in the way.

About: I
was born in Denver but raised mostly in Pittsburgh. I got my
undergraduate degree at Washington and Jefferson College in Washington,
PA and got my graduate degree at Saint Louis University. I was excited
about the possibility of getting a job closer to home and was thrilled
to get the job at Lock Haven. I have two cats and I am excited to be of
assistance to the SCC.

About: A
Dover, PA., native, I have taken a round-about route to athletics
administration with degrees in History and Spanish from Elmira (NY)
College, and also a master's degree in Communication Studies from
Edinboro University. I'm usually at most of the athletics events here
on campus, so feel free to stop over and say hi. I live in Lock Haven
with my two roommates Aaron (coaches cross country/track and field) and
Gen (coaches volleyball) and a spoiled cat, Tiger (coaches Aaron and
Gen). I'm excited to have this opportunity to be involved with the SCC!
