 Auditorium

Lock Haven University held a groundbreaking
ceremony on Friday, May 4 for its new science
center being constructed at the former Lock
Haven High School site.  Dignitaries, construction
representatives and friends of LHU turned out to
break ground on soil where footprints left their
marks over the years by thousands of students
who walked these halls.

 High School

More than just mortar and brick, years of memories
were created in this building.  Students lived their
high school experiences and teachers sparked the
interests of young minds in preparation of higher
education or prepared them to take on the world as
responsible adults.

 Bridge

Those hallways have been silenced for over a
decade now, but soon the sound of voices will
not just be ghosts of the past, but a new
chapter in the history of our community and
our University as we teach the next generations.
We honor the past of what LH Senior High
School meant from that first moment in 1928
when the first classes began until the last.  We
embrace our future with the vision of continuing
the legacy of great learning and teaching.
