Greetings from Lock Haven University. Hi my name is Sharon Heverly and I have been an employee since February 1997. I started in the Admissions Office as a temporary employee and was fortunate to become a permanent employee in April of 1998.

I was promoted to a Clerk Steno II and for five years was secretary at two locations. In the morning I worked for the Honors Director, Dr. James Knauer and in the afternoon worked for the Director of Instructional & Computing Department, Mr. Donald Patterson.

In February of this year (2003) I was very fortunate to be promoted to a Computer Operator.  My new boss is Mr. Joel Register.  This job is very challenging and ever changing.  New technology and updates every few years keep this department busy making sure the faculty/staff and students are kept up-to-date.  I am surrounded by the servers in my office and help keep backup files on a daily basis.

On the personal level, I am a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Technology, a happy wife of 36 years, and the mother of three children, Kelly, Holly and Manny, and three grandchildren who are the light of my life.   Preston is the oldest grandchild and next in line is Jordan.  Last but not least, is my granddaughter Rylee.  I enjoy camping, walking and am an avid reader. Every Sunday you will find me in church teaching the primary class which includes children in the age group of 2-4 years.  Vacation Bible School in the summer is also something I thoroughly enjoy being involved with.
