Summer in London |
LHU-BU London Program |

One of the standard features of the program is that classes (and almost all play-going) are scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday, leaving you Friday through Monday to go to the continent, the rest of Britain, or Ireland. Even North Africa and Israel are accessible, if you’re that adventuresome. |
Expensive. Downtown New York City expensive. A Big Mac that’s $2.49 in Pennsylvania is 2.49 there, but it’s British pounds sterling, currently at about $2 per pound. Budget appropriately. |
We do a first day orientation, trying to acclimate you to the area near our flats and the area around the West End theatre district (which is also pretty much the tourist center of the city), but, generally, no. You are on your own to explore or not. |

Since the classes are regular LHU courses, they have the same meeting expectations and work expectations as any other course. However, the program is centered on the experiential element, so much of the written work will reinforce what you see and experience in London (or Stratford). |
