LHU-BU London Program

Leaving May 12, 2008, returning week of June 8, 2008 (actual day and time unknown until confirmed airline tickets — goal is Tuesday, June 10th)

Dates

The program stays in flats (usually 2 or 3 bedrooms) in Marylebone district of Central London (postal code W1). [want to see more pictures? Email shicks@lhup.edu]

 

Living

2008 program costs will be $2950 plus tuition, food, and expenses.  See costs page for detailed breakdown.

Deposit of $1000 will be needed by Dec. 1, 2007.

 

 

Costs  

The group will see eleven plays together — this is a requirement.  Four Shakespeare plays (usually 2 in Stratford-upon-Avon, a group trip included in the program cost) and 7 for the Theatre course.  The theatre course mixes venues — seeing at least a play on the West End, one at the National Theatre, one at the Royal Court (once the home of GB Shaw, now the venue for many innovative new plays), one at a close off West End theatre like the Almeida, and one at a smaller outer venue like the Tricycle or the Bush.
