I agree that:

  1. When attending a forensics tournament I am an official member of the Forensics Team representing Lock Haven University in an academic intercollegiate competition.  To be registered for a meet, I must clear each event by having the Director of Forensics view each performance at least twice.  If I am registered for a meet and do not attend, I am responsible for a drop fee of not less than $5 per event.  Fees greater than $5.00 are indicated by the meet's invitational packet guidelines.
  2. I will dress and act in a professional manner utilizing appropriate etiquette throughout the trip.
  3. Punctuality will be expected as a participating member of the Forensics Team.
  4. All materials lent to me by the forensics team will be returned prior to finals each semester.
  5. I agree that as a member of the Team for this tournament, I will not leave the group for any reason other than for scheduled responsibility.  I will eat and bunk with only my team members in order to build positive relationships with them.  I recognize that my responsibility is to the Team although I am encouraged to reach out to other competitors in a friendly, professional manner, I should associate with my team primarily.
  6. I agree to register for the appropriate number of events according to my skill level.  Members considered a novice are required to compete in at least two events* at any given tournament.  Varsity members are required to compete in at least three events in any given tournament.

*(For students in SPCH303 - If you do not want to do two separate events at one tournament, Debate may count as two events for one tournament and attending a second tournament would fulfill a course requirement of performing twice.)
