Nov. 8, 2000 -  LHU MEN'S SOCCER EARNS PSAC
                    POST-SEASON AWARDS

(Lock Haven, Pa.) - Four members of the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team were awarded All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference honors for the 2000 season.  Earning first team all-conference accolades were sophomore midfielder Rob Battisson (Leicester, England/High Wyland) and junior back Morten Brorby (Jevnaker, Norway/Jevnaker).  Senior forward Joe Kadelski (Gilbertsville/Boyertown) and freshman attacker Zlatko Dizdarevic (Mechanicsburg/Mechanicsburg) both were selected for Second Team All-PSAC honors.

Midfielder Rob Battisson started in every game for the Bald Eagles this season, controlling the midfield while also getting forward for three goals and three assists.

Morten Brorby makes the all-conference list as a defender, having played a major role in the success of the squad as the last line of defense before the keeper.  He also added three goals and an assist.  It is the third-consecutive All-PSAC award for Brorby, and his first time receiving First Team honors.

Earning Second Team All-PSAC honors were a pair of forwards, Joe Kadelski and Zlatko Dizdarevic.   Kadelski, a senior, was second on The Haven's scoring list, recording seven goals and five assists for a total 19 points.  For Kadelski, this is his second all-conference accolade, also earning First Team honors in 1998.

Dizdarevic led the Bald Eagles in scoring from his forward position, posting 10 goals and two assists on the season.  He scored the game-winning goal in a 3-2 double overtime win against Kutztown University, and also added a hat-trick against Slippery Rock University.  A freshman, this is Dizdarevic's first PSAC post-season award.

The 2000 edition of the Lock Haven men's soccer team recorded a 9-6-1 overall mark and advanced to the PSAC semifinals before bowing out to California (Pa.).

Oct. 31, 2000 -  Bald eagle soccer to host psac semifinal against California

(Lock Haven, Pa.) – The 2000 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference men's soccer championships will get underway with the semifinal game between No. 2 seed Lock Haven University (9-5-1, 6-1-1 PSAC) and the No. 3 seed California (Pa.) University (13-6-0, 6-2-0 PSAC) on Wednesday, November 1, at 1 p.m. on Lock Haven's McCollum Field.

A three-team tournament setup, East Stroudsburg secured the No. 1 seed and the privilege of hosting the Championship game after finishing 16-2-0 overall with an unblemished 8-0 PSAC record.  Lock Haven earned the No. 2 seed after wrapping up the regular season at 9-5-1 overall and 6-1-1 in the conference, and will host the semifinal round.  The No. 3 seed went to California, who will enter into post-season play with a 13-6-0 overall and 6-2 PSAC record.  The winner of Wednesday's dual will travel to East Stroudsburg University on Sunday, November 5, for the tournament title game with a 1 p.m. kickoff.

The Bald Eagles of Lock Haven, under fourth-year Head Coach Rob Eaton, make their 16th consecutive appearance in the PSAC playoffs, and will attempt to advance to the title game for the 25th time in the past 32 years.  LHU has won a conference-leading 19 championship titles, with three coming in the 1990's.

Headlining The Haven offensive attack are freshman forward Zlatko Dizdarevic (Mechanicsburg/Mechanicsburg) and senior midfielder Joe Kadelski (Gilbertsville/Boyertown).  Dizdarevic is among PSAC leaders in scoring with 22 points from 10 goals and two assists.  Kadelski is also one of the top scorers in the conference with 19 points off of seven goals and five assists.  Juniors Jon Davy (Grimsby, England/Hereford Comp) and Richard Melchior (Pittsgrove, N.J./Schalick) also add fire to LHU's offense, contributing 13 (5g, 3a) and 12 (5g, 2a) points, respectively.  Rounding out top Haven scorers is a pair of freshmen, Billy Dovas (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown) (4g, 3a) and David Dallas (Wilmington, Del./Concord) (2g, 6a).

Defensively, LHU utilizes the talents of Adam Munro (Levittown/Pennsbury) and John Schumann (Warrington/Central Bucks East).  Junior Jake Lezak (Athens/Athens) took over goalkeeping duties midway through the season, and though he has given up 12 goals for a 2.10 GAA, he has pulled through when needed.

The California Vulcans (13-6-0, 6-2-0) will be in search of their first PSAC title, but to do it will have to defeat the same two teams that handed them losses in the regular season, Lock Haven and East Stroudsburg.  Under the direction of Head Coach Dennis Laskey, Cal makes its first appearance in the PSAC playoffs since 1993.

The Vulcan offense is second in the PSAC in scoring (3.26gpg), and the defense rates third (1.74 gpg).  The offense is led by PSAC scoring leader and California all-time scoring champion junior midfielder Tomas Boltnar (Erie/Iroquois), who has recorded a scorching 18 goals and 17 assists.  Sophomore forwards Nicholas Addlery (California/Jamaica Col.) (11g, 8a) and Joe Mete (Pittsburgh/Mt. Lebanon) (8g, 8a), along with sophomore midfielder Lou Douglas (Monroeville/Gateway) (9g, 5a), all add depth to the Cal scoring attack.

Darren Vacarro (Monongahela/Ringgold), B.J. Wilson (Smyrna, Del/Smyrna), Ben Beck (Pittsburgh/Plum), and Greg Dacres (Hamilton, ONT/St. Thomas More) shore up the California defense.  Sophomore goalkeeper Seth Shaw (Lincoln, NE/Northeast) has recorded 79 saves and a 1.77 GAA.

During the regular season, Lock Haven edged the Vulcans, 4-2, on LHU's McCollum Field.

The winner of the Lock Haven/California semifinal contest will advance to challenge host school and defending champion East Stroudsburg on Sunday, November 5, at 1 p.m.

BALD EAGLES' MELCHIOR EARNS PSAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK SELECTION

(Lock Haven, Pa.) -  Richard Melchior (Pittsgrove, N.J./Schalick), a junior midfielder on the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania men's soccer team, was selected as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending October 8.

Melchior netted the game-winning score in a double overtime contest against Millersville University, breaking away from the defense to meet a pass from teammate Ian Auman before sending it into the back of the net in the 114th minute.  The goal gave LHU a 2-1 victory and improved the Bald Eagles to 4-0-1 in the PSAC.

For the season, Melchior is third on the squad in scoring, tallying five goals and two assists for a total 12 points.

Lock Haven is 7-2-1 overall and 4-0-1 in the PSAC, and next travel to East Stroudsburg University on Wednesday, October 11, at 3 p.m.

June 29, 2000 -- BALD EAGLE SOCCER 2000 RECRUITING
CLASS HEADING BACK TO THE GLORY DAYS

(Lock Haven, Pa.) - The Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania Men's Soccer program has released a list of eight players who will join the Bald Eagle program in the fall of 2000.

The first recruiting class of the new millennium is described by fourth-year head coach Rob Eaton as being particularly strong, deep, and talented.

“Recruiting is a fickle game at times and it makes and breaks programs with its ups and downs," said Coach Eaton. "This particular year just seems to have worked out exactly the way we needed it to in terms of finding the right talent in certain positions and being able to blend personalities and strengths for the good of the whole program."

Eaton’s recruiting class is eight players strong and spans three countries and five states.

Below is a brief profile of the 2000 LHU men's soccer recruits:

Graham Boyle is a fiery midfielder who joins the Bald Eagles from Paisley, Scotland, where he played for the Scottish National youth team and turned down several professional club offers to continue his education at LHU.

David Dallas will join the LHU midfield after a strong career at Concord High School in Delaware.  Dallas not only captained his school team but also the State Olympic Development team.  He was a first team All-State player his final two years, was voted the team MVP in 1999, and led Concord HS in scoring his last three seasons.

Zlatko Dizdarevic is a striker from Mechanicsburg (Pa.) High School.  Zlatko was a Mid-Penn All-Star and played for the Supernova club team.  He is originally from Austria.

Michael Dionne comes to the Haven from Marbeldale, Conn., where he was a standout player at Shepaug High School.  Dionne is another utility player who could get a look at many positions in The Haven midfield and defense.

Billy Dovas is a first team All-State player from Hackettstown, N.J., who will look to add his power to The Haven attack. Dovas has the ability to score in bunches, and will be a useful addition to the forward line. He owns both the single season and career scoring records at Hackettstown High School.

Dean Penny is the younger brother of former LHU All-American Chris Penny.  Dean comes to The Haven from Newcastle, England, where he played at high levels of amateur soccer and will be an immediate impact to The Haven midfield.

Zachary Shell was the MVP of the Pennsylvania West All-Star game this past fall, and brings his 6’4” presence to the heart of The Haven midfield where his hard work and unselfish skill will surely be appreciated.  Shell hails from Woodland Hills High School, and is the first prominent player from the Pittsburgh area to come to The Haven.

Jeff Van Etten brings a very adaptable game to LHU where he has the ability to play in a number of positions.  A key to the past success at Monroe-Woodbury High School in upstate New York, his team was the 1999 Orange County League Champions. Van Etten is also another tall strong player who can contribute immediately. Van Etten was team captain and MVP during his senior year and played for the Wallkill Thunder club team.

The 1999 edition of the Bald Eagle squad went 12-6-1, finished second in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference regular season, and was the PSAC post-season tournament runner-up.

With a good season in 2000, The Haven would be able to place yet another accomplished page into its already proud history books as one of only a few collegiate men's soccer programs to accumulate 500 team wins.  Lock Haven needs 13 wins to reach the 500 plateau, and Head Coach Rob Eaton predicts that a very young and determined group will be marching towards that goal in typical Haven fashion when the season starts.

January 8, 2000 -- LHU'S DAVY RECEIVES ALL-REGION AWARD

Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania Men's Soccer student-athlete John Davy (Grimsby, England/Hereford Comp.) was recently honored as a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Adidas All-Northeast Region Team member.

Sophomore forward John Davy was named to the Second Team All-Region, the first Haven player to earn regional status since 1997. Davy was also one of four Bald Eagles earning All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) accolades, and one of Lock Haven's two First-Team selections. For the season, Davy led the young Bald Eagle squad in scoring, registering seven goals and four assists for 18 total points. Among his three game-winners this past season, Davy booted the winning goal in the PSAC semifinal contest to lift The Haven over Bloomsburg University, 2-1.

The Haven notched a 12-7-1 record for the 1999 season, finishing second in regular season PSAC competition with a 6-1-1 ledger, and advancing to the conference finals before bowing out to eventual NCAA qualifier East Stroudsburg University, 3-0.

In the 1990's, Davy is the 14th student-athlete from The Haven to earn an All-Region selection and his honor marks the 25th certificate overall awarded to Lock Haven in the decade.

November 10, 1999 -- LOCK HAVEN MEN'S SOCCER PLAYERS EARN ALL-PSAC HONORS

Four Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania men's soccer student-athletes were awarded All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference honors, as released on November 10. Freshman defender Gjermund Mathisen (Jevanker, Norway/Jevnaker) and sophomore forward John Davy (Grimsby, England/Hereford Comp.) were selected to the First Team All-PSAC, and a pair of sophomores, midfielder Richard Melchior (Pittsgrove, N.J./Schalick) and forward Morten Brorby (Jevnaker, Norway/Jevnaker) garnered Second Team All-PSAC accolades.

A hard-nosed defender, Mathisen made an immediate contribution to The Haven's backfield. He was an integral part of the young Haven squad's defensive front, which at any given time consisted of at least two freshmen. Mathisen also posted two goals and an assist on the season.

Davy earns his first All-Conference selection, leading the Bald Eagles in scoring this season with seven goals and four assists after making the transition to a forward position from defense. Davy came on strong towards the end of the season, notching five goals, three of those game-winners, in The Haven's final five games.

Melchior appeared in all 20 games for the Bald Eagles at midfield, setting up six goals to lead the team in assists. He scored one goal this season -- that goal came with 2:40 left in the game to lift The Haven over conference opponent Kutztown University, 1-0.

Brorby, like Davy, shifted up front to a forward slot after playing defense his freshman season. At 6'2", his size was an invaluable asset to The Haven's offensive game, and he tallied four goals and three assists on his way to Second Team All-PSAC honors. It was the second time Brorby has earned the conference recognition.

The Bald Eagle men's soccer team finished 12-7-1 overall, advancing to the PSAC Championship match with a 2-1 semifinal victory over Bloomsburg, but falling in the title game to East Stroudsburg, 0-3.

November 7, 1999 -- HAVEN MEN'S SOCCER FALLS TO EAST STROUDSBURG
                            IN PSAC TITLE GAME

The Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania men’s soccer team took all their confidence and a five game winning streak into their 24th appearance in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference finals, but came up a bit short, falling 3-0 to East Stroudsburg University.

The Haven was unable to get things going, as a tough Warrior defense held the Bald Eagle offense to just four shots on goal. East Stroudsburg notched two goals in the first stanza, opening play with a goal just 3:33 into the contest, a hard shot by Channing Swears that LHU keeper Manola Dorado (Mallaga, Spain) tipped but could not stop.

Later in the half, the conference leader in goals, Pat Stanco, laced his 20th goal of the season on a breakaway following a pass from Kurt Nusshag, to give the Warriors the commanding first half lead (2-0).

The bulk of the second half was a defensive battle until ESU’s Ahmet Kose drove a ground shot past Lock Haven keeper Manola Dorado for the third and final goal to put the contest, and the Bald Eagle’s hopes of winning their 16th conference championship, to rest.

The Haven defense was under constant pressure, allowing 10 cornerkicks and 16 shots on goal overall. Dorado posted seven saves in goal for Lock Haven, but was outmatched, on this day, by a relentless Warrior offense.

Lock Haven finishes the decade with three conference championships (1990, 1991, 1996) with East Stroudsburg grabbing the other seven. The win was the Warriors’ 13th in a row to take its season record to 18-2, tying the team single-season victory record (18-4, 1994).

November 2, 1999 -- LHU SOCCER TEAM ADVANCES TO PSAC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

The Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania Men's Soccer team will travel to East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania to compete for the 1999 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference crown on Sunday, November 7, at 1 p.m. The Haven will be looking to upset the favored Warriors, who have won six of the past seven PSAC title bouts. Lock Haven and East Stroudsburg have met in the final game on 13 occasions in the past, with East Stroudsburg leading the series 8-5.

The Bald Eagles advanced to the PSAC finals with a semifinal win over Bloomsburg University this past Tuesday, defeating the Huskies by a final 2-1 margin. Lock Haven was actually down, 0-1, after a Bloomsburg score early in the second half. But the Bald Eagles wasted no time making up the difference, tying the game at 1-1 with a goal by Jeff Mercier (S. Rowdon, Canada/Hants West) just forty seconds later. With slightly over 22 minutes remaining, LHU's Morten Brorby (Jevnaker, Norway/Jevnaker) connected with Jon Davy (Grimsby, England/Hereford Comp.), who notched the game-winner to send The Haven to the championship tilt.

The Bald Eagles are directed by third year Head Coach Rob Eaton, who has guided the 1999 squad to a 12-6-1 overall mark and a 6-1-1 record in PSAC competition. Eaton is currently 32-21-4 while at The Haven, and has built up a 19-3-2 ledger in regular season PSAC competition. His career win-loss record stands at 125-99-10. Overall, The Haven has a PSAC-best 15 conference championship crowns, the most recent coming in 1996 when the Bald Eagles, then under the direction of Lenny Long, defeated Bloomsburg, 6-0.

The LHU offensive attack is led by sophomore forward Jon Davy. This season, Davy has posted 18 points off of seven goals, including three goals in the last two games, and four assists. Junior forward Joe Kadelski (Gilbertsville/Boyertown) has also made solid contributions to the scoring charge of the Bald Eagles, collecting 13 points from five goals and three assists. Sophomore forward Morten Brorby adds 11 points to the LHU charts after posting four goals and three assists, including both assists from Tuesday's semifinal win.

Defensively, the Bald Eagles have depended on the performance of Adam Munro (Levittown/Pennsbury), David Cavanaugh (Highland Lakes, N.J./Vernon Township), and Gjermund Mathisen (Jevnaker, Norway/Jevnaker). In goal for The Haven is freshman keeper Manola Dorado (Mallaga, Spain). Dorado has done an impressive job for Lock Haven, recording a 1.38 GAA (24 goals allowed) and eight shutouts in 17 games played.

East Stroudsburg University boasts a 17-2 overall record and a spotless 8-0 mark in the PSAC. The Warriors have won their last 12 games, including a 4-1 victory over the Bald Eagles in regular season play. At the helm of the ESU club is 18th year Head Coach Jerry Sheska, who has built a 259-103-16 overall record while at East Stroudsburg. The defending PSAC champions (ESU 1, Millersville 0), the Warriors have won a total 12 team titles, including crowns in six of the last seven years.

The Warriors' Pat Stanco leads the PSAC in scoring, having found the back of the net 19 times in addition to seven assists for a total 45 points. He is backed by the play of Ahmet Kose, with nine goals and four assists, and PSAC assist leader Jorge Chapoy, who has tallied five goals and 12 assists. In goal for East Stroudsburg is Conor Fry. Fry has posted a 1.08 GAA with 3.5 shutouts in 14 games. The Warriors could also utilize Jason Land, who has recorded a 0.55 GAA in 10 games played (656 minutes), along with four shutouts.

RECAP:  PSAC MEN'S SEMIFINAL GAME

(Lock Haven, Pa.) ~ The weather could have been nicer, but the PSAC semifinal battle between Lock Haven and Bloomsburg lived up to the expectations of thrill seekers and soccer fans brave enough to come out in the down pour that blanketed McCollum Field, as The Haven defeated the Bloomsburg Huskies by a final score of 2-1. The first half was something of a track meet, with both squads sharing time on the attack. Lock Haven had a number of shots just miss, with two shots by midfielder Rob Battison (Leicester, England/High Wyland) clanking off the goal posts, and Bloomsburg also had its share of close tries.

Just over eight minutes into the second half, with the rain coming down harder, Bloom’s Cody Clabaugh (Sinking Spring/Wilson) took a shot that deflected off a Lock Haven defender. Rocco Zinobile (Lock Haven/Lock Haven) met the rebound with a header, knocking the ball straight into the back of the net for the score and the lead. But the lead did not last long, as The Haven took off the other way and Morten Brorby (Jevnaker, Norway/Jevnaker) drew the keeper out and crossed left to Jeff Mercier (S. Rowdon, Canada/Hants West) who tapped the ball into the goal for the tying score.

Outshooting the Huskies 8-2 in the second half, Lock Haven made good on another feed by Morten Brorby. This time Brorby broke away down the left side of the field, crossing to Jon Davy (Grimsby, England/Hereford Comp.), who left his feet to meet the ball in the air and boot it into the back of the net at 67:24 to give the Bald Eagles the 2-1 advantage and the eventual win.

Haven keeper Manola Dorado (Mallaga, Spain) recorded four saves in goal, and Bloom keeper Kevin Wright (Souderton/Pennridge) notched 11 saves.

Lock Haven will travel to the No. 1 seed East Stroudsburg University (17-2, 8-0 PSAC) for the PSAC Championship game on Sunday, November 7, at 1 p.m. This will be Lock Haven’s 24th appearance in the PSAC title game since the tournament’s inception in 1969. The Haven has won a conference leading 15 PSAC post-season tournament championships. The Warriors of East Stroudsburg are the defending conference champions, and rank second in the PSAC with 10 crowns, including six of the last seven.

November 1, 1999 -- LOCK HAVEN MEN'S SOCCER TO HOST BLOOMSBURG
                            IN PSAC SEMIFINAL

Both Squads Set To Take the Field on Tuesday, November 2

The 1999 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference men's soccer championships will get underway with the semifinal game between No. 2 seed Lock Haven University and the No. 3 seed Bloomsburg University on Tuesday, November 2, at 1 p.m. on Lock Haven's McCollum Field.

A three-team tournament setup, East Stroudsburg secured the No. 1 seed and the privilege of hosting the Championship game after finishing 17-2 overall with an unblemished 8-0 PSAC record. Lock Haven earned the No. 2 seed after wrapping up the regular season at 11-6-1 overall and 6-1-1 in the conference, and will host the semifinal round. The No. 3 seed went to Bloomsburg, who will enter into post-season play with a 7-11 overall and 4-4 PSAC record. The winner of Tuesday's dual will travel to East Stroudsburg University on Sunday, November 7, for a 1 p.m. start time.

Lock Haven, 11-6-1 overall, qualified for the PSAC Championships after posting a 6-1-1 record in conference competition. The Bald Eagles suffered their only loss of the season to tournament seed No. 1 East Stroudsburg, 1-4, back in early October, and early in the season found themselves unable to escape a deadlock at 0-0 in a double-overtime contest against West Chester University. The Haven is currently riding a three-game winning streak overall and a four-game winning streak on their home field.

Leading the Haven's offensive attack will be sophomore forward Jon Davy (Grimsby, England/Hereford Comp.) and junior forward Joe Kadelski (Gilbertsville/Boyertown). Davy has posted six goals and four assists this season, including two goals in LHU's final conference game against Shippensburg. Kadelski, who was a first-team All-PSAC player last season, posts five goals and three assists on his ledger, including one goal in each of the past two games. Sophomore forward Morten Brorby (Jevnaker, Norway/Jevnaker) (4g, 1a) and sophomore midfielder Richard Melchior (Pittsgrove, N.J./Schalick) (1g, 6a) have also contributed to The Haven offense, and will be counted on once again. Leading the defensive efforts on the field will be sophomore back Adam Munro (Levittown/Pennsbury), a 1998 All-PSAC defender. In goal for The Haven is freshman Manola Dorado (Mallaga, Spain). Dorado has tallied eight shutouts in 16 games played, and carries a 1.40 GAA.

The entrance of Lock Haven into PSAC post-season competition marks the 15th consecutive season that a Bald Eagle squad has made such an appearance. LHU has won a conference-leading 15 tournament championship titles, and will be looking to make its 24th appearance in the championship game since its inception in 1969.

The Bloomsburg Huskies enter into the conference semifinals with a 7-11 overall record and a 4-4 mark in the PSAC. The Huskies will be looking to break a three-game losing skid after dropping a non-conference match up to Southampton (0-2) and two conference games to East Stroudsburg (0-3) and California (1-3). Bloomsburg is led by senior midfielder Cody Clabaugh (Sinking Spring/Wilson), who has notched eight goals and three assists over the season. Another weapon in the Bloom arsenal is junior midfielder Alex Sisakovic (Belgrade, Serbia). Sisakovic currently has eight goals and one assist. Other possible contributors include junior forward Rocco Zinobile (Lock Haven/Lock Haven) (3g, 3a) and sophomore defender Greg Ponzi (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) (3g). In goal, the Huskies' Kevin Wright (Souderton/Pennridge) has recorded four shutouts while allowing 29 goals for a 1.69 GAA.

Bloomsburg has advanced to the PSAC Championship game just twice, once in 1977 and again in 1996. Both times the Huskies faced the Bald Eagles of Lock Haven, and both times The Haven emerged as the title team.

During the regular season, Lock Haven edged Bloomsburg, 1-0 in double overtime with a goal by Joe Kadelski, in a contest held at Bloomsburg back on September 28.

The winner of the Lock Haven/Bloomsburg semifinal contest will advance to challenge host school and defending champion East Stroudsburg on Sunday, November 7, at 1 p.m.

October 4, 1999 -- DORADO TABBED PSAC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania men's soccer student-athlete Manola Dorado (Mallaga, Spain/Mallaga) was selected the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending October 3.

A freshman goalkeeper for the Bald Eagles, Dorado recorded three shutouts this past week, improving his season total of shutouts to six in just nine games played. He had 11 saves in goal over the past three games, and has not allowed a score in 478 minutes, stemming back to the final minutes against Dowling College on September 18.

Dorado took over for an injured Haven starting goalkeeper Paul Maguire early in the Bald Eagles' 1999 campaign, and has not looked back since. For the season, Dorado has accumulated 774 minutes tending the net, and has tallied 36 saves and an impressive 0.625 GAA. He has allowed just six goals in his nine games.

The Bald Eagles, now 7-3-1 overall and 3-0-1 in the PSAC, are riding a five-game winning streak, all of which have been shutout victories. Most recently, The Haven avenged a 1998 PSAC semifinal loss to Millersville University, defeating the Marauders 1-0 last Saturday.

Lock Haven hosts the defending PSAC Champions of East Stroudsburg University on Wednesday, October 6, at 3 p.m. on McCollum Field.
