LHU Begins Broadcasts With ESPN Radio

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – This past weekend’s football game marked the beginning of Lock Haven University’s relationship with ESPN Radio 1050 WLYC in Williamsport, Pa.

WLYC will serve as the “Voice of LHU Athletics” broadcasting football, wrestling, men’s and women’s basketball and select other Haven athletic events. WBPZ 1230 out of Lock Haven, Pa. has agreed to simulcast the Bald and Lady Eagle contests.

“Lock Haven University athletic fans want to hear their Bald and Lady Eagles on the radio, and we’re giving them that opportunity,” said LHU president Dr. Keith T. Miller. “This has excellent potential for community-outreach and strengthening relationships with our alumni and local fans.”

Colonial Radio Group President/CEO Jeffrey M. Andrulonis said, “This is an exciting relationship between ESPN Radio 1050 and LHU.  We are pleased to partner with such a growing, forward-thinking institution.”

LHU alum Marc Rayman will serve as the play-by-play announcer with other special guests.
