HAVEN, Pa. – This past weekend’s football game marked
the beginning of Lock Haven University’s relationship with ESPN Radio 1050 WLYC
in Williamsport, Pa.
WLYC will
serve as the “Voice of LHU Athletics” broadcasting football, wrestling, men’s
and women’s basketball and select other Haven athletic events. WBPZ 1230 out of
Lock Haven, Pa. has agreed to simulcast the Bald and Lady Eagle contests.
“Lock Haven
University athletic fans want to hear their Bald and Lady Eagles on the radio,
and we’re giving them that opportunity,” said LHU president Dr. Keith T.
Miller. “This has excellent potential for community-outreach and
strengthening relationships with our alumni and local fans.”

Jeffrey M. Andrulonis said, “This is an exciting relationship between ESPN
Radio 1050 and LHU. We are pleased to partner with such a growing,
forward-thinking institution.”
