LHU Lacrosse's Strizki Tabbed PSAC Player of the Week

   
  (Lock Haven, Pa.) -  Diana Strizki (Flemington, N.J./Hunterdon Central), a junior midfielder on the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania lacrosse team, was selected as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Player of the Week for games ending April 25.
            Strizki paced Lock Haven with 13 goals and three assists last week, helping the Lady Eagles earn their first spot in the PSAC tournament since the 1991 season. She tied her season high of six goals to go along with two assists in a win over
East Stroudsburg University early in the week. In team losses to top-five ranked squads West Chester University and Limestone College , she totaled two and four goals, respectively. Strizki had one goal and assisted on the game-winning score against Millersville University to clinch the playoff berth.
            On the season, Strizki leads LHU in scoring with 48 goals and 19 assists. She is ranked fourth in the PSAC in goals per game, averaging 3.00 each time out, and is rated seventh in points per game after accounting for 4.19 per contest.
           The Lady Eagle lacrosse team, currently 8-8 overall and 7-5 in the conference, earned the No. 4-seed in the PSAC tournament. Lock Haven will travel to No. 1-seed West Chester University on Tues., April 27, for a 4 p.m. semifinal.  The winner advances to the championship game on Sat., May 1, to face the winner of the other semifinal between No. 2 Shippensburg University and No. 3 Bloomsburg University at the site of the highest remaining seed.
