LHU's Chappell Nabs Second Consecutive PSAC West

Chappell (Coatesville/Coatesville), a freshman guard for the Lock Haven
University of Pennsylvania men’s basketball team, nabbed his second
consecutive Pennsylvania State Athletic
Conference (PSAC) Western Division Rookie of the Week honor, this time for
games ending February 2.
Chappell
helped the Bald Eagles to their first road win of the season, pouring in 18
points, four rebounds and two steals in the 76-75 decision over
Slippery
Rock
University
. The rookie guard also was a key
contributor in a loss at
Clarion
University
, tallying nine points, three rebounds and two steals.
For the week, Chappell averaged 13.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals
per contest.
On
the season, Chappell leads all Bald Eagle scorers with a 10.9 points per game
average. He also leads the team and
is ranked 11th in the PSAC in steals with 32 (1.78 spg).
The
Bald Eagle basketball team is currently 3-16 overall and 2-4 in the PSAC West.

Edinboro
University
for more PSAC Western Division action on Sat., Feb. 7.
