Lock Haven Lacrosse Ranked Eighth in IWLCA Preseason Poll

   
  (Lock Haven, Pa.) -  The Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania women’s lacrosse team is ranked eighth in the 2004 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) preseason poll recently released.
            Third-year Lady Eagle lacrosse head coach Kristen Geissler returns nine letterwinners from last year’s 8-8 season, the first win-loss mark of .500 or better since the 1996 season. Lock Haven was ranked 11th in all of NCAA Division II in scoring offense (10.81 g/gm) during that run.
            The Lady Eagle lacrosse team, also ranked 10th in the Lacrosse Magazine preseason poll, will open the 2004 campaign on Wed., March 17, on the road at Shippensburg University .
