Haven Lacrosse's Richter, Strizki Named All-Region

   
  (Lock Haven, Pa.) - Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania lacrosse’s Jenna Richter (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) and Diana Strizki (Flemington, N.J./Hunterdon Central) were both named to the 2004 Harrow Sports/Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II South All-Region Team. 
          Richter, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Rookie of the Year and a Second Team All-PSAC pick, was selected to the Second Team All-Region as a midfielder.  Richter led the PSAC and was fourth in the nation with 2.35 assists per game. Her assists total of 40 set a new Haven single-season record. She ranked third among conference leaders and 12th nationally in points per game (4.76) and was second on the squad with 41 goals.
          Strizki, a junior, earned Second Team All-Region honors as an At-Large pick. The Lady Eagles’ leading scorer as a midfielder/attacker, Strizki posted 50 goals to rank fifth in the PSAC in the goals per game (2.94). She added 19 assists to total 69 points on the season.  For her efforts Strizki also received a First Team All-PSAC selection, the third all-conference nod of her career.

        The 2004 Lady Eagles posted an overall mark of 8-9 and advanced to their first PSAC tournament playoff game since the 1991 season after securing the spot with a 7-5 PSAC ledger. This year’s Haven team set a school record for goals with 200 scored and ranked among the top four in every statistical category in the conference.
