Bald Eagle Basketball's Walker Earns All-PSAC Nod

   
 

(Lock Haven, Pa.) -  Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania men’s basketball player Joe Walker (Lock Haven/Central Mountain) was selected as an All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division forward, as announced today by the conference office.  
            Walker, a junior, makes his first appearance on the all-conference list as a Second Team All-PSAC West forward.  He averaged 9.7 points and a team-best 6.1 rebounds per game this season including four double-doubles.  His shooting accuracy from the floor ranked him eighth among all PSAC players with a .540 field goal percentage.  At the free throw line, the Bald Eagle led the squad in both shots made (78) and attempts (117) while shooting 66.7-percent.  He was among team leaders with 48 assists, 19 steals and 17 blocks. 
Walker posted a season-best scoring effort of 26 points against Kutztown University and pulled down 15 rebounds on two occasions.
            The 2004 Bald Eagle squad went 4-23 overall and 3-9 in the PSAC Western Division.
