(Lock Haven, Pa.) - Both
Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania men’s and women’s cross country
squads received All-Academic Team honors from the NCAA Division II Cross
Country Coaches Association (NCCCA), while the Lady Eagles’ Jana Kauffman (Strasburg/Lampeter-Strasburg) obtained individual
All-Academic honors.
The
Lock Haven women’s cross country team earned its seventh-straight
All-Academic Team award after compiling a grade point average of 3.01 over the
fall semester. The PSAC and NCAA Division II East Region champion Bald Eagle
men’s cross country team also earned All-Academic Team honors, posting a
combined grade point average of 3.00 during the fall.
Jana Kauffman,
a senior Health Science major, earns her third NCCCA All-Academic honor.
Kauffman was LHU’s top finisher at the NCAA Division II East Regional
Championship, placing 26th overall, and was second among Lock Haven
harriers at the PSAC Championships after a 23rd-place finish.
