Trio of Haven Men's Soccer Players Earns All-PSAC Honors
Bixler, Boyle and Dovas Named To First Team List

 
  (Lock Haven, Pa.) - Three members of the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania men’s soccer team, Dustin Bixler (Mechanicsburg/Redland), Graham Boyle (Paisley, Scotland/Paisley) and Bill Dovas (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown), were honored as First Team All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) selections as voted on by the league’s coaches. 
            Junior defender Dustin Bixler makes his first appearance on the First Team All-PSAC list after earning second team honors last year.  Bixler, a three-year starter, headed up a defensive unit that was third in the conference with 1.29 goals allowed per game.  In addition to his defensive prowess, Bixler scored one goal and had one assist. 
           
          
It is the first all-conference nod for senior midfielder Graham Boyle.  Boyle posted two goals, including one game-winner, while directing the Haven midfield.  He also added three assists. Boyle closes out his career at Lock Haven with six goals and nine assists.

           Bill Dovas receives his second all-conference selection, earning first team honors this year after a second-team selection last season.  A senior forward, Dovas finished second on the team and was fifth in the PSAC in scoring with 10 goals and one assist for 1.40 points per game.  He was third in the conference in goals per game, averaging 0.67 scores a contest including three hat tricks and two game-winning goals.  Dovas pocketed three goals in a 3-0 win over Slippery Rock University and the game-winner was among his three goals scored in the 5-3 win against Kutztown University . Over the course of four seasons with the Bald Eagles, Dovas posted 29 goals and eight assists.
            The Bald Eagle soccer team, under the guidance of second-year head coach Doug Moore, closed out the year at 9-6-2 overall and 4-4 in the PSAC to record the program’s fifth-straight winning season.
