LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Freshman goalkeeper Emily Wagner (Brick, N.J./Brick Township)
has been named this week’s Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)
West Division Player of the Week for her outstanding performance against
Edinboro University Oct. 27, the conference office announced today. The
honor is the first for Wagner this season and the fourth overall for Lock
Haven in 2004.
Wagner made four stops
to get her third shutout of the season, a 1-0 victory over Edinboro. She is
4-0 in her rookie campaign, appearing in five games with four starts. The
freshman goalkeeper has given up just one goal this season.
