LOCK HAVEN, Pa.
– The Lock Haven University women’s soccer team earned three first-team and
two second-team choices on the 2004 Women’s Soccer All-Pennsylvania State
Athletic Conference (PSAC) West teams, the conference office announced
today. Seniors Brooke Rangi (Kawerau, New Zealand/Kawerau College)
and Danielle Smith (Johnson, N.Y./Minisink Valley) join sophomore
Holly Homsher (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) on the first team.
Rangi led the team with
points and goals with 19 and nine, respectively. She had a six-game stretch
of consecutive goals during the season. Smith was a senior leader on a
defensive line that allowed just a 0.96 goals-against average. She also had
two goals and three assists on the year. Homsher was first on the squad with
three assists and second with six goals. Four of her strikes were game
winners.

Elizabeth Beattie (Madison, Ohio/Madison) freshman Ann Fink (Fleetwood,
Pa./Fleetwood) made the second team.
The Lady Eagles wrapped
up their season at 11-6-2, their ninth 10-win season in a row.
