Bald Eagle Soccer's Dovas Named PSAC Player of the Week

(Lock Haven, Pa.) -  Bill Dovas (Hackettstown, N.J./Hackettstown), a senior forward for the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania men’s soccer team, was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Player of the Week for games ending October 19.
Dovas scored his third hat-trick of the season to lift Lock Haven to a 5-3 win against Kutztown University , keeping the Bald Eagles in the hunt for a PSAC playoff bid.  His first goal gave Lock Haven the 2-1 lead just before the close of the first half.  He scored two goals within a four-minute period to open second-half scoring, including the game-winner.
On the season, Dovas leads LHU and is sixth in the conference in scoring with 21 points from 10 goals and one assist.
The Bald Eagle soccer team is currently 7-4-2 overall and 3-2-0 in the PSAC.  Lock Haven is in a four-way tie for third place in the conference with three PSAC games remaining, and will need to finish among the top four in order to earn a playoff bid.  Up next is a road game at Bloomsburg University on Wed., Oct. 22, at 3 p.m.
