To meet the standards for the USTCCCA All-Academic individual award, the student-athlete must be above a freshman standing academically, meet the standards for qualification at the NCAA Division II Championships and maintain at least a 3.25 grade point average.
Jennifer Farrow, a Recreational Fitness Management and Master of Liberal Arts major, posted a 3.365 grade point average as a graduate student. Farrow was a Verizon Academic All-America Second Team member in 2003, and also earned two PSAC Top Ten awards for excellence in both academics and athletics. She was the 2003 NCAA Division II East Region and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Athlete of the Year after becoming Lock Haven’s first three-time outdoor All-American, placing fourth in the 400 meters (54.52) at the NCAA Division II National Championship. At the 2003 PSAC Championships, Farrow captured three titles, winning the 400 meters (55.41), the 200 meters (25.09) and anchoring the first-place 4x100 meter relay (47.81).
Jocelyn Held closed out her collegiate career with a 3.268 grade point average in Health and Physical Education/Sport Administration.  In the pole vault, Held harvested her best-ever finish last season at the outdoor national championship, falling just short of All-America honors in a three-way tie for 10th place. At both indoor and outdoor conference championships, Held captured the individual title twice in the pole vault.
Bri Palazzi ended her sophomore year with a 3.582 grade point average in Health and Physical Education. Palazzi competed in the triple jump at the 2003 indoor and outdoor national championships, placing 11th during the indoor meet and 16th overall at the outdoor championships. She was the PSAC indoor triple jump champion, scoring a meet record in the event for the win.
Matt Stinson, a senior during the 2003 outdoor track and field season, recorded a combined 3.477 grade point average in Health and Physical Education over the span of his collegiate career.  Along with teammate Veldhuis, Stinson was a member of the All-America 4x400 meter relay team this past spring and was also a national competitor in the decathlon. At the PSAC level, Stinson was the indoor pentathlon champion and a member of the conference’s winning outdoor 4x100 meter relay team.
Keith Veldhuis, a Health and Physical Education major, owned the second-best grade point average in all qualifying student-athletes with a 3.967 on the books. During the outdoor season, Veldhuis earned All-America honors as a member of the 4x400 meter relay, anchoring the team to an eighth-place finish. He also competed in the decathlon at the NCAA Division II championships. Veldhuis was the 2003 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) decathlon champion and a member of the 4x100 meter relay championship team.

Joe Webster, a Sports Administration major, finished his senior year with a 3.296 grade point average. Webster received All-America honors as the lead leg of the 4x400 meter relay team. Along with his 4x400 performance, Webster competed individually in the 400 meter dash (48.48) at the national championships, sprinting his way to a 16th place finish. In 2003, Webster was a two-time PSAC champion in the 200 meters (indoor) and 4x100 meter relay (outdoor).
In 2003, both Lock Haven University track and field teams captured indoor PSAC track and field team championships and both finished as runners-up at the outdoor PSAC championship.
