LHU Harrier Chris Cowan Selected As PSAC Runner
of the Week

Haven, Pa.) - Junior harrier Chris
Cowan (Horseheads, N.Y./Thomas A. Edison), a member of the No. 14-ranked
Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania cross country team, earned Pennsylvania
State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
honors for events ending October 26. It is his second straight and his fourth
such award this season.
This
week, Cowan won the individual title at the Mansfield Tri-Meet, covering the
three-mile course in 15:23.4. His
win helped lift Lock Haven to team wins over
Bloomsburg
University
and
Mansfield
University
.
The
Lock Haven men’s and women’s cross country teams will challenge for the
title at the PSAC Championships this weekend in
Bloomsburg
,
Pa.
