LHU Field Hockey's Segerlin Earns PSAC Player of the Week

   
  (Lock Haven, Pa.) -  Sara Segerlin (Penfield, N.Y./Webster), a senior midfielder for the No. 3-ranked Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania field hockey team, was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Player of the Week for games ending October 26. 
            Segerlin scored the game-winning goal in overtime to lift Lock Haven to a 2-1 win over East Stroudsburg University on Saturday.  Earlier in the week, she had assisted on the game-deciding score to give the Lady Eagles a 1-0 victory over No. 1-ranked Shippensburg University .  
            For the season, Segerlin scored 10 goals and three assists and accounted for five game-winning tallies.
            The Lady Eagle field hockey team wrapped up its season at 17-4 overall.  Lock Haven finished as a PSAC tournament semifinalist, falling to Shippensburg University , 3-2, in overtime this afternoon.
