LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- Ryan
Blood (Summerdale, Pa./East
Pennsboro), a sophomore on Lock Haven’s No. 7-ranked men’s cross country
team, was named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men’s Cross
Country Runner of the Week for meets ending Oct. 4, the conference office
announced today.
Blood ran to victory in
a field of 133 runners at the Gulden Invitational, hosted by Bucknell
University. His time of 25:13 was seven seconds better than teammate Chris
Cowan, who finished in second place. His efforts led the team to a third
place finish among 10 teams, five of which were Division I.
Blood and the rest of
the Bald Eagle harriers will be back on the course when they travel to
either Penn State National Invitational or the University of Rochester
Invitational; both meets will be held on Saturday Oct. 16.
