LOCK HAVEN, Pa.–
Freshman
Ashley Rosindale
(Bradford, England/Beckfoot School) and sophomore Diane Wall (Green
Lane/Pennridge) of Lock Haven University were named the Pennsylvania State
Athletic Conference men’s and women’s soccer players of the week for games
ending Oct. 10, the conference office announced today.
In a 2-0-1 week for the
Lock Haven men’s soccer team (8-4-2, 2-2-1 PSAC) Rosindale netted five goals
to earn PSAC Player of the Week. He posted two goals in Lock Haven’s 4-2 win
over Shippensburg University, including the game winner. He also recorded
his first career hat trick in the first 17 minutes of the 9-0 win against
Concordia College.
Wall tallied three
points to help the Lady Eagle soccer team (7-6-2, 4-1-1 PSAC West) to a
1-0-1 record for the week, earning her PSAC West Player of the Week. While
playing a player down and trailing 2-1 against No. 3 Slippery Rock
University, she assisted on the game-tying goal. Wall also registered the
game-winning goal 14 minutes into the 2-0 win over CW Post.
Wall and the rest of the
Lady Eagles will be back in action at Clarion University on Tuesday, Oct. 12
at 7 p.m. Rosindale joins the Bald Eagles against Bloomsburg University
Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 3 p.m. at McCollum Field.
