LHU Cross Country's Cowan Selected As PSAC

(Lock Haven, Pa.) - Chris
Cowan (Horseheads, N.Y./Thomas A. Edison), a
junior on the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania cross country team, was
named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men’s Cross Country
Runner of the Week for events ending Sept. 21.
Cowan
captured the individual title and helped lead the Bald Eagles to the team crown
among a field of 29 teams at last Saturday’s NYU Invitational.
He won the men’s title in a 335-runner field, crossing the line of the
8K course in a time of 26:09. Cowan’s
time was 13 seconds faster than the second-place runner.
The
Lock Haven cross country teams host the LHU Invitational on Sat., Sept. 27, at
11 a.m.
