Haven Field Hockey's Sweger Tabbed NEC Player of the Week

   
  (Lock Haven, Pa.) -  Nikki Sweger (Dauphin/Central Dauphin East), a junior field hockey player for the Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania Lady Eagles, has been selected as the Northeast Conference (NEC) Player of the Week.
                Sweger netted five goals and added four assists as Lock Haven opened up the 2004 season in NCAA Division I with a 4-0 run. The junior forward scored the team’s first three goals of the season and dished out an assist in a 4-1 victory against Towson. She registered the game winner in a 3-0 win over Vermont and assisted on the deciding goal in a 5-0 win against Radford.
                Sweger’s early total moves her into a tie for tenth place on the Haven’s all-time scoring list, now with 36 career goals.
                The Lady Eagle field hockey team (4-0) takes its undefeated record on the road this evening, matching up against Villanova University at 7 p.m.
