LOCK HAVEN, Pa. --
David Russell (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly), a sophomore on the
Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania men’s soccer team, has been named the
Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Player of the Week for all
games through September 13.
Russell hit two key goals over the
course of the week. He netted the game-winner against C.W. Post, helping the
Bald Eagles capture the team title at their own Fall Soccer Classic, and he
also hit the tying goal at Southhampton University, sending the game into
overtime, where LHU eventually won.
Russell and
the rest of the Bald Eagle men’s soccer team are in action at
Slippery Rock
University on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 3 p.m.
