Highlights: Lock Haven’s Becky Hinton (York/Dallastown) broke away down the right side of the field, crossing the ball to Amy Hale (Hanover/Southwestern) who knocked in the winning goal to send the Lady Eagles to the PSAC Championships... the first half ended in a 0-0 tie, as LHU was able to keep control of the ball for the majority of the stanza, limiting Shippensburg to just two penalty corners in the first half as opposed to their five shots and four corners... The Haven’s Gabi George (New Oxford/New Oxford) sent one into the goal off a corner 46 minutes into the contest... the Lady Raiders retaliated just four minutes later, as Sarah Paine (Chambersburg/Chambersburg) took the rebound off a save by LHU keeper Tara Beach (Greene, NY/Greene) and tapped it in to tie the game... Shipp was awarded a penalty stroke three minutes later, but Anne Furman (Sunbury/Line Mountain) was unable to get the ball past a quick-reacting LHU keeper Beach, who picked up a crucial save for the Lady Eagles... a minute later, the Lady Eagles answered with the game-winner, a cross from Becky Hinton to Amy Hale, to boost The Haven up, 2-1, a lead they would maintain up to the final horn.

Up Next: Lock Haven will advance to the PSAC Championship match against No. 1 seed Bloomsburg University on Saturday, October 30, at 12 p.m. at Bloomsburg. This will be the tenth straight year and the 12th overall, that Bloomsburg and Lock Haven have met in the PSAC Championship game. Lock Haven holds a 6-5 advantage for the series. Lock Haven is also the defending conference champion after a 2-1 victory over the Huskies in 1998.

Highlights: Highlights: The Lady Eagles got the early lead and carried through with the eventual 5-1 win over Rochester... Haven goals were scored by five different players, as Val George (New Oxford/New Oxford), Becky Hinton (York/Dallastown), Liz Marionni (Dalton/ Lackawanna Trail), Michelle Hickey (Greene, NY/Greene Central), and Marci Yousaitis (West Lawn/Wilson) all contributed to the win... The Haven outshot Rochester 18-6, and held a 7-5 advantage in penalty corners.

Highlights: Highlights: Lock Haven scores the first four goals of the game, two in each half, to give them some breathing room before William Smith College broke up the shutout in the second half with two goals less than a minute apart. Cori Anderson added to her offensive numbers for the year with two assists and Gaby and Val George scored one goal apiece.

The Lady Eagles added three more goals in the first half to put the game out of reach and finished with a 6-1 victory. Hinton led the team on offense with her one goal and two assists. The Haven dominated the field, keeping pressure on Shippensburg goalkeeper Audra Schanafelt throughout with 20 shots to Ship’ s six. The Lady Raiders’ only goal came with 6:25 left in the game on a penalty stroke scored by Heather Rothrock.
