ATLANTA – Former Lock Haven
University football standout Rob Carey continues to impress in
the Arena Football League (AFL) as a member of the Georgia Force.
The rookie defensive specialist sealed the Force’s
opening-round playoff win over the Tampa Bay Storm with a 47-yard
interception return for a touchdown. Georgia weathered the Storm 62-46.
Carey is in his first season with the Force, after
spending one year with the AF2’s Manchester Wolves.
As a defensive back and kick returner for the Bald
Eagles, Carey earned three All-America honors from 2000-03, and peppers
the LHU record books with his performance.
