Gazette on Oct. 20 after generating 11 solo tackles, an
interception, a forced fumble and 99-yard fumble recovery for
touchdown to secure the Bald Eagles’ win over Shippensburg…
LHU leader with 10 pass breakups… Third-leading tackler with
73 stops including six for loss… Also had three interceptions
and two forced fumbles… Ninth in PSAC in all-purpose yardage
(92.2 ypg/1,014 yards)… Second-leading punt returner in the
conference and 11th in NCAA Division II after
averaging 15.8 yards per return with two run back for
touchdowns… Sixth in the PSAC with an average run-back of 22.6
yards on kickoff returns… Caught four passes for two
touchdowns, scoring versus Kutztown and Bloomsburg… LHU
Football Special Teams MVP… Homecoming 2002 Jaycees
Co-Defensive Player of the Game… 2001: First Team All-PSAC
West selection as a return specialist and second team
all-conference as a cornerback… ECAC Division II South
All-Star as a defensive back… Led the PSAC and was 21st
in the nation in punt returns averaging 11.8 yards per return…
Third in the conference and 21st in the nation in
kickoff returns (26.3 ypr)… Team-leader with five
interceptions and seven pass defenses… Third on team with 89
total tackles… Scored twice versus Mansfield, once on an 82
yard interception return and again off an 80-yard kickoff
return… Also led LHU with nine tackles and two interceptions
in that game… 2000: First Team All-PSAC selection…
Led the Bald Eagles with seven pass breakups… Also among squad
leaders with two interceptions and 55 tackles...
Second in all-purpose yardage (672 yds.), and also
managed the bulk of LHU’s return game, averaging 18.7 yards
per kick return and 12.6 yards per punt return… 1999:
Red-shirted… Tallied 4 tackles in Crimson and White
scrimmage… In High School: Merited First Team WPIAL
Quad A East honors as a defensive back… Charted eight
interceptions in senior season to lead the Woodland Hills
