LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men’s soccer team is set to begin the 2008 season, where it will be looking for the program’s 21st conference crown.
The coaches within the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) have enough respect for Doug Moore and his squads as the Bald Eagles have been picked to finish second in the PSAC Preseason Coaches Poll.
With the addition of Gannon and Mercyhurst Universities The Haven will play in the Western Division this season.
Always the perennial contender, LHU received one of five first place votes.
Newcomer and No. 15th ranked Gannon was picked to win the Western Division while No. 8 East Stroudsburg University was the top pick in the East.
The LHU men’s soccer team kicks off their season at Wilmington on Saturday, August 29 at 11 a.m.

Eastern Division
1. East Stroudsburg (5)
2. West Chester (1)
3. Millersville
