LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - After a third place finish at the 2007 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championships the Lock Haven University men’s cross country team resume their new season ranked in the same spot in which they finished a year ago.
The LHU men’s side is ranked third in the PSAC Preseason Coaches poll that was released today.
However, the Bald Eagles are returning the majority of their top performers and will be looking to fight for another conference title. They are currently ranked behind Edinboro (First) and Slippery Rock Universities. (Second).
Led by standout Shala Simms (Upper Darby, Pa./Upper Darby), the Lady Eagles cross country team enter the season ranked ninth of the PSAC pre-season poll, which is a place higher then they finished at the 2007 PSAC championships.
