INDIANA, Pa. – The Lock Haven University women’s soccer team (1-2, 0-2 PSAC West) fell to Indiana (Pa.) University (2-0, 2-0 PSAC West) 3-0 on the road this afternoon in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division action.
IUP scored all three goals in the first half of play.
Davis did say that there were plenty of positives for her young team and noted solid play from sophomore transfer Caitlyn Slattery (Williamsport, Pa./UMBC) on defense.
She also said that senior captain Lindsey Blessing (Fredericksburg, Pa./Governor Mifflin) played a good game for The Haven.
Freshman Kim Bentley (Springdale, Pa./Springdale) played the second half in net for LHU and Davis was happy with her performance as well.
The Lady Eagles are back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. when they play host to California (Pa.) University in PSAC West action.
