LHU Volleyball

Lady Eagles roll, improve to 10-0
 

Leading the Lady Eagles tonight was Christie Naumann, who had a team-high 14 kills.

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (10-0) remained perfect tonight as the Lady Eagles downed C.W. Post 3-0 at LHU’s Bob Chu Invitational.

The Haven won 25-21, 25-23 and 25-18.

With the 3-0 win tonight, LHU improves to 10-0 while only dropping one game all season long.

Leading the Lady Eagles offense was Christie Naumann (Charters Towers, Austrailia/Gladstone), who had a team-high 14 kills.

Christina Laury (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) and Stacy Borgia (Factoryville, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) both chipped in with nine and eight kills, respectively.

Laury also had a team-high six digs, while Borgia had five.

Freshman Haley Gribler (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy-Liberty) recorded six kills.

Fabianna Gomez (Montevideo, Uruguay/Consejo de E.S.) had 32 assists.

The Lady Eagles are back in action tomorrow at 10 a.m. when they play Ohio Valley at the LHU Bob Chu Invitational.
