LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Sophomore Tim Getz (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasbury) of the Lock Haven University men’s cross country team has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Athlete of the Week for his recent efforts in leading the Bald Eagles on the course.

Recently Getz finished first out of 73 runners, leading The Haven men to the team title at the LHU Invitational.

Getz took home the individual crown, covering the 8K course in 26:24.20, leading a 1-2-3 Haven finish.

In the race LHU downed nationally ranked Shippensburg as the Bald Eagles won their second meet in as many races.
