SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men’s soccer team (5-4-1, 2-1 PSAC West) topped Slippery Rock University 2-1 today on the road in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division action.
The Bald Eagles were led by two first half goals, as they earned the important win in a physical PSAC West match.
LHU’s first goal came off the foot of Colin Callaghan (Drexel Hill, Pa./Upper Darby).
Kevin McCune (Butler, Pa./Butler) tallied The Haven’s second goal of the match and the eventual game-winner as he drilled home a header.
Zach Miller (Girard, Pa./Mercyhurst Prep) assisted on both goals for LHU.
Billy Trimble (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) made 10 saves in goal for the crimson and white.
Lock Haven is back in action on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. when the Bald Eagles return home for a clash with West Chester University.
