ERIE, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (19-4) went 1-1 today at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Crossover action.
Lock Haven kicked off the day with their 19th win of the season downing Clarion University 3-1.
Lock Haven fell in their second match of the day 3-1 to host Edinboro University.
Edinboro won 25-17, 25-21, 19-25 and 25-22.
Leading way for LHU was Christie Naumann (Charters Towers, Austrailia/Gladstone), who had a team-high 13 kills.
Juliana Nascimento (Guarulhos, Brazil/Seward) hit .304 with eight kills.
Elizabeth Metzmaier (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) and Stacey Borgia (Factoryville, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) also added eight kills a piece. Borgia also had a team-high 13 digs.
Fabiana Gomez (Montevideo, Uruguay/Consejo de E.S) had 33 assists and six digs.
Heidi Stine (Hershey, Pa./Lower Dauphin) and Christina Laury (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) both had six digs.
Kim Windstein (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) had four block assists.
The Lady Eagles are back in action in on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at Cheyney University in PSAC East action.
