LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – For the second consecutive week a Lock Haven University volleyball player has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Player of the Week
This week it was senior Stacey Borgia (Factoryville, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) taking home the honor.
It marks the fourth time this year that Borgia has been named PSAC East Player of the Week as a Haven woman has taken home the honor six of nine weeks this season with LHU continuing to dominate on the court.
Borgia led The Haven to a 2-0 week as the Lady Eagles picked up two more 3-0 wins in PSAC East action.
With the two-win week, LHU improves to 23-4 overall and a perfect 9-0 in division action.
Borgia had a team-high 25 kills over the span of the two matches. She added a team-high five blocks, three aces and nine digs.
Over the two matches Borgia hit a sensational .512.
Borgia and her Lady Eagle teammates return to action tonight when they play host to Millersville University in conference action. The first serve is set for 7 p.m. in Thomas Fieldhouse.
