LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Senior Stacey Borgia (Factoryville, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) of the Lock Haven University volleyball team has been named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.
This marks the third straight time a Lady Eagles has taken home the honor, with Borgia winning the last two.
The Lady Eagles were only in action once last week, but it was a big win for The Haven, who rolled past Millersville 3-0 in PSAC East action.
The big win helped LHU improved to a perfect 10-0 in division action. Borgia was again a big reason behind Lock Haven success on the court as she had a monster night hitting.
The senior finished with 16 kills, while hitting a sensational .762. Borgia added a team-high three aces, four digs and two blocks.
It marks the fifth time this year that Borgia has been named PSAC East Player of the Week as a Haven woman has taken home the honor seven of 10 weeks this season with LHU continuing to dominate on the court.
