EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (26-4, 12-0 PSAC East) capped off Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East play with a 3-1 win on the road at East Stroudsburg improving to a perfect 12-0 in PSAC East action.
With win the win LHU extends its win streak to seven matches and improves to 26-4 overall.
The Haven downed ESU 25-12, 25-12, 23-25 and 25-15.
Senior Stacey Borgia (Factoryville, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) led LHU with an 18-kill effort. She only had three hitting errors and hit a sensational .577.
Juliana Nascimento (Guarulhos, Brazil/Seward C.C.) recorded 14 kills and hit .565.
Freshman Haley Gribler (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy-Liberty) added 12 kills, while hitting .555 to help Lock Haven to the win.
Fabiana Gomez (Montevideo, Uruguay/Consejo de. E.S.) recorded a match-high 55 assists.
Borgia also led LHU in blocks with two solo and two block assists. Nascimento added two aces.
Heidi Stine (Hershey, Pa./Lower Dauphin) led LHU with 12 digs.
The Lady Eagles are back in action on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 7 p.m. when they place host ESU in a PSAC playoff match.
