CALIFORNIA, Pa. – The Lock Haven University volleyball team (28-5) lost to No. 16 California (Pa.) University (37-1) 3-0 tonight in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship match.

The Lady Eagles fell 25-14, 25-22 and 25-11.

Senior Stacey Borgia (Factoryville, Pa./Lackawanna Trail) led the way for LHU with a team-high eight kills. She also had four digs.

Freshman Haley Gribler (Powell, Ohio/Olentangy-Liberty) and Christie Naumann (Charters Towers, Australia/Gladstone) had six kills, while Juliana Nascimento (Guarulhos, Brazil/Seward C.C.) added five.

Naumann also had 10 digs.

Fabiana Gomez (Montevideo, Uruguay/Consejo de. E.S.) had a team-high 24 assists and led the team in digs with 11.

Lock Haven will wait and see if they gain selection into next week’s NCAA Division II Regional Tournament. Selections will be made early next week.
