KANSAS CITY, Kan. – The Lock Haven University women’s soccer team was selected as a winner for the 2008 National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) Ethics and Sportsmanship award.
The Lady Eagles were honored with a silver medal for their play on the field during the 2008 season.
A total of 66 teams were selected between the three divisions of the NCAA. Medal classifications of gold, silver and bronze were used for the awards.
Of the teams that qualified; seven received gold, 43 were awarded silver and 16 won bronze.
The award will officially be presented during the NSCAA/adiddas College Coaches Awards Reception on Thursday, January 15.
