LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men’s basketball team (2-13, 0-2 PSAC West) was edged by California University of Pa. (9-5, 2-0 PSAC West) 61-54 in division action this afternoon in Thomas Fieldhouse.

Warren Christian (Baltimore, Md./Cantonsville C.C) led all Bald Eagle players with a double-double. Christian scored 10 points and snagged a game-high 15 boards in the loss.

Senior guard Kelvin McLean (Newport, Va./Heritage) closed in on a double-double with game-high 17 points and eight rebounds.

Eric Brennan (Chester, Pa./ West Cathloic – Philadelphia) had another solid showing on the hardwood with 10 points and six boards.

Senior Billy Arre (Pittsburgh, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) also helped Lock Haven in the contest by adding 13 points and grabbing five rebounds.

California was led by Chris Moore, who had a double-double for the Vulcans with 13 points and 11 boards. He also had two blocks in the win.

The Bald Eagles continue Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West play when they travel to IUP on Wednesday, Jan. 21. The contest is scheduled for an 7:30 p.m. start.
