LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University wrestling team (5-7-1, 0-2 EWL) will be looking for its first Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) dual-meet win of the year this Saturday, Jan. 24 when the Bald Eagles travel to Cleveland State University.
The Match:
The EWL match is set for 5 p.m. on Saturday. It will mark the EWL opener for CSU as the Bald Eagles enter the match 0-2 in league action after losing to top-ranked Pittsburgh and Edinboro last week. CSU is coming off a 33-5 loss to Kent State.
The Series:
LHU is 20-10 all time against Cleveland State. Lock Haven won last year’s meeting 28-14. CSU’s last win came in 2007 (18-16) and it won the first ever meeting in 1979 (23-10).
