LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University wrestling team (6-7-1, 1-2 EWL) will be looking for its second straight Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) win this Saturday, Jan. 31 when the Bald Eagles host West Virginia University at Thomas Fieldhouse.

The Match:

The EWL match is set for 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in historic Thomas Fieldhouse. The Bald Eagles enter the match 6-7-1 overall, 1-2 in EWL action. LHU is coming off a 32-10 victory over EWL-foe Cleveland State University. WVU (5-4, 2-0 EWL) recently traveled to Clarion, where they defeated the Golden Eagles 22-14 in league action.

The Series:

LHU is 14-16 all-time against West Virginia. Lock Haven fell to WVU last year 21-11. LHU’s last win came in 2005 (21-19) and it won the first ever meeting in 1979 (20-12).
