LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Lock Haven University men’s basketball team (3-19, 1-8 PSAC West) fell to Indiana (Pa.) University (18-4, 7-2 PSAC West) 98-68 tonight at Thomas Fieldhouse in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) West action
Senior Billy Arre (Pittsburgh/Thomas Jefferson) led all Bald Eagle scorers with his game-high 30 points.
Arre closed in on a double-double with a game-high nine rebounds. He also dished out two assists, had two blocks and swiped two steals in the loss.
With his impressive showing on the hardwood tonight, Arre came within four points of 2,000 for his career (1,996). Arre is currently The Haven men’s all-time leading scorer and his 1,996 career points have him sitting 10th on the all-time PSAC career scoring list.
Senior Kelvin McLean (Newport, Va./Heritage) added 18 points for Lock Haven. He also grabbed six boards in the contest.
Warren Christian (Baltimore, Md./Catonsville C.C.) made his present felt inside by scoring 10 points, grabbing five rebounds and having one block and a steal.
IUP had all 10 players active for tonight’s contest in the scoring column, with five of them in double figures.
Gerald Brooks led all Crimson Hawk scorers with his team-high 18 points.
The Bald Eagles continue PSAC Western Division play when they travel to California (Pa.) University on Saturday, Feb. 14. The contest is set for a 5 p.m. tipoff.
