NEW ORLEANS – The Lock Haven University men’s and women’s cross country teams have picked up another prestigious honor.

The Bald and Lady Eagles picked up an academic award, as both the Haven men and women were honored as United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) 2008 Division II Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Scholar Teams of the Year.

The Bald Eagles were one of 57 Division II men’s teams named a Scholar Squad, while the Lady Eagles joined 97 other D-II women’s squads on the prestigious list.
