LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The No. 8 Lock Haven University lacrosse team (10-2) made it look easy this afternoon on Charlotte E. Smith Field as the Lady Eagles soared past visiting Seton Hill University (3-10) 23-5.
With the win, LHU improves to 10-2 on the year.
Lock Haven jumped out to an early lead as the offensive was clicking today at home.
LHU led 4-0 just over 10 minutes into the contest and that early lead paved the way for a lopsided 15-2 advantage at halftime.
Freshman Elyse Fisher (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) led all scorers with a game-high four goals.
Thirteen different players scored for The Haven including Leigh Titus (Towaco, N.J./Montville) and Jamie Uzialko (Lima, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima), as they each netted a hat trick.
Titus finished with six points, as she also dished out three assists.
Amber Hoch (Souderton, Pa./Souderton) also handed out a trio of helpers. She added one goal.
Lock Haven used three goalies, but the Haven-trio was only forced to make five saves in 60 minutes of action.
The Lady Eagles return to action on Thursday, April 9 when they travel to Indiana (Pa.) University for a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Western Division game. The game is set to start at 4 p.m. at IUP.
